Common questions
- Where is my data stored?
- On your phone, full stop. There's no account, no cloud and no sync — which also means the app works with no signal at all.
- How do I back it up?
- Your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) includes Toolbox Ledger's data automatically. Restore the backup, and your jobs come back with it.
- What do the margin colours mean?
- Green: margin is 25% or better. Navy: between 15% and 25% — watch it. Brick red: under 15% or negative — look closer before the job gets away from you.
- Why is a job's price not saving?
- Tap Done above the keyboard after typing a figure — that commits the value. If something still looks wrong, email with the steps and it will be fixed.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. One price at download, yours for good. There is nothing to buy inside the app.
